This home site demanded a custom design to work with the constraints of an odd lot shape, views in every direction, solar impacts on the home and general home owner goals. We worked together to create a timeless home and landscape that brings the outside in and inside out, making this a perfect home for entertaining family and friends while enjoying the view of the golf course and Cascade Mountains.
Modern Home on The High Desert
This home was designed with efficient quality living space in mind! Not to mention style… Northwest Modern is what we’d classify this one as with a solid Northwest flare. Creating spaces that doubled and captured the mountain views were a primary focus for this beautiful home.
Ranch Rustic Living Home and Landscape
We look at this home as a signature piece in Brasada Ranch as one of the original homes designed and built with bold lines and views for days. This comfortable home was designed to bring the inside out and the outside in – the views are major from most rooms and outdoor spaces. Custom designed steel brackets in the one of a kind trusses give this home a unique bold character. The nearly native landscape blends the home in with the surrounding nativescape making it feel like it’s always been on this site.
Prairie Home and Landscape
This home was built on an infill lot in downtown Bend; the owners wanted the home and landscape to blend in with the 50 plus year old neighboring homes. With low angle roofs we were able to keep this house feeling smaller than it is – the textures on the home are soft and welcoming. The outdoor space gives a big patio in the backyard for parties and the courtyard off the dining room on the front side of the home is intimate for quiet dinner parties.
NW Lodge Style Home and Landscape
This home is an amazing example of what we do best! Get creative and bring the indoors out and the outdoors in. The surprising details abound in every direction, from the clerestory over the stairs to bring light through both levels of the home to the ceiling lines and did we mention that back patio with full Cascade Mountain views?! A custom infinity edge pool is just the cherry on top for this one of a kind residence in NW Bend.
Rustic Modern on the High Desert
This project is a great example of working around site constraints. A large existing boulder outcropping was a prominent feature on the lot and the site demanded the house be designed around it. This is a smart design maximizing entertainment space while keeping the footprint at a moderate size. The indoor outdoor connection on this project can be seen with the vast backyard patio area. Xeriscape practices were used in creating a landscape full of color and life and staying within the rustic modern feel of the home.
Tumalo Private Garden Estate
A cutting garden was the first thing these homeowners said they wanted. We went for it, designed a Southern Inspired Garden on over an acre of landscaped area in the middle of ranch land. This landscape in Southern Style with Central Oregon tolerant plants providing year round interest with evergreens and long blooming shrubs and perennials.
Tetherow Prairie Style Home and Landscape
Prominent overhangs and ample stone accents welcome you to this home on the golf course. Careful design was put into capturing winter sun while blocking afternoon summer sun and wind from the outdoor living space created on the back patio. This home and landscape design captured many details not found without a custom design team. From the entry courtyard stone walls, pondless water feature and thoughtful landscape lighting layout this home invites you in.

A low profile home and casita designed to work with the existing site grades and landscape meant to blend with the native surrounding indicating the home had been built decades before. This home boasts a rustic elegance that captures the views of our local seven peaks unlike any other. The outdoor space pulls you out to enjoy the morning sun around the fire pit or evening sunset over the mountains on the expansive deck. There aren’t many homes out there that are quite as nice as this one!
Caldera Springs Lodgestyle Home
Lodgestyle that boasts strong timber accents and plenty of stone to provide the homeowners with a home that belongs in the snowy mountains, just like it is! Custom designed trusses, geo-thermal wells and heated pathways, a game casita, wine cellar, a mudroom with drying racks for your wet winter gear – this home has it all!
Tumalo Private Garden Estate
With 20 acres to play with, the ideas were endless and the homeowners trusted us to create something special for them to share with their friends and families. This home won the Best Landscape and Best Feature for the Water Feature on the 2008 Tour of Homes in the Million plus category. The original root cellar remains on this property; we craned an antique plow into it and filled it with lavender for a memorable place to visit on the property. Large expanses of turf, patios filled with color, a swimming pond and water feature, fire pits – this landscape is set up for staycations!
Award Winning Tumalo Prairie Style Home
This Prairie Style home boasts modern details, great outdoor space and views to the Deschutes River while receiving Best Value, Best Master Bedroom and Best Feature for its double staircases for homes on the 2017 Tour of Homes. Symmetry was important to the homeowner making it easy to create balance and interest on this home with simple materials for a clean finished product.
Highlands Lodgestyle Home and Landscape
This was a project of a lifetime. The homeowners let us be creative and come up with something unique just for them! We helped them select the right lot, site the home and plan the use of their 10 acres. From custom tressel style trusses in the great room, the sunken entertaining bar, sunken outdoor kitchen, sunken fire pit, swimming pond, geo-thermal wells, solar garden – this place was a dream home we were fortunate enough to be able to design.
Greene & Greene Home and Landscape
When a client comes in and their only request is that the final product is “sick” this is one thing you might get! The details come through in every aspect of this home, from the shapes of the beams to the same shape in the stair railing. The entry courtyard is inviting and interesting, the back patios embrace the Cascade views – and give you plenty of room to stretch your legs.
Awbrey Butte Prairie Style Home and Landscape
A steep lot created design challenges that helped make this incredible home as special as it is. Low angle roofs and long overhangs make this home hug the slope and open up to the Western Cascade views out the back of the home. Stone walls, picture windows, water features, courtyard, fire pits, open railings all help to bring the inside out and the outside in. Symmetry and balance were very important in all planning stages of this home and landscape.
